Orb Stack — Privacy Policy

Last updated: 12 July 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how the mobile game Orb Stack ("the App", "we", "us") handles information. The App is developed and published by DiscombobWorks. By installing or using Orb Stack you agree to the practices described below.

Information we collect

Orb Stack does not require you to create an account or provide any personal information (such as your name, email, or phone number) to play the core game.

Your game progress — including high scores, coins, unlocked items, difficulty, and audio settings — is stored only on your device. We do not have access to it, and it is removed when you uninstall the App.

Google Play Games Services (optional global leaderboards)

Orb Stack includes an optional online leaderboard. If you choose to view or submit scores there, the App signs you in with Google Play Games Services using your existing Google account. This shares your Google Play Games player ID and public display name with Google, so your scores and rank can be shown alongside other players.

This sign-in is entirely optional and separate from the rest of the game: you can decline it and keep playing normally, including using the on-device leaderboard, with no account of any kind. This data is handled by Google under its own privacy policy (linked below); we do not store your Play Games identity ourselves.

Advertising

Orb Stack may show optional rewarded video ads using Google AdMob. You choose when to watch an ad (for example, to continue a game or use a power-up); ads are never forced on you to keep playing.

To serve and measure ads, Google AdMob and its partners may collect and process certain data, including your device's advertising identifier, IP address, and general device information. This data is handled by Google, not by us. You can learn more and manage your choices here:

On Android you can reset or delete your advertising ID, or opt out of ad personalisation, in Settings → Privacy / Google → Ads.

Consent for users in the EEA, UK and Switzerland

Where required by law, the App uses Google's consent tools to ask for your permission before personalised ads are shown. You can change your choice at any time through your device's ad settings.

Children's privacy

Orb Stack is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will address it.

Data sharing & selling

We do not sell your personal information. The only third party that may receive data is Google — for advertising (Google AdMob) and, if you use it, the optional global leaderboard (Google Play Games Services) — as described above and governed by Google's own privacy policy.

Data retention

Because game data lives on your device, you control it: clearing the App's data or uninstalling the App removes it. Any data processed by Google for ads or Play Games sign-in is retained according to Google's policies.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated policy.
